The promise of a web-based Android messaging service started last week, but the portal appears to be open to people with the latest updates for Android messaging apps. This launch is now expanded and more people can use web clients.
Google Engineer Justin Uberti told me last night on Twitter that the Android Message web portal had been deployed.
The Android messaging settings for web presence work together with the WhatsApp web client: go to the website, then scan the QR code to your phone to set up the connection.
Once signed in, you must have options for dark mode, browser reminders, emoji, stickers, and keyboard shortcuts.
The Android messaging web port works on all major browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Edge, IE, Safari, and Opera. You can also decide whether to keep in mind in your browser to improve security.
