APPLE Inc. is telled to rebuild mapping applications that are widely used in iPhone products from their base using their own datasets.
Still, Amsterdam-based TomTom NV will remain as a data provider for Apple's map application. The company is headquartered in Cupertino, California, and told Reuters on Friday.
So far, Apple has not explained the usage of TomTom in more detail than previous usage. However, this news came immediately to acquire the reaction of market participants that TomTom caused the stock price.
Apple said that Maps App, the most commonly used app on the iPhone, uses anonymous data from iPhone users who are sharing it to rebuild it using their vans data .
