GOOGLE on Thursday, 6th May, said the Google Documents were safe, even if Russian Internet users found a number of files intended for personal use.
A Russian Internet company, Yandex, said in a statement that some users have said that the company public search engine looks like a personal Google Document file and that there is a possible data breach.
Russian social media users began posting a number of such documents on Wednesday night, including internal notes from the bank of Russia, press briefs, and company business plans. I can not verify the authenticity of this document directly.
Google said in a statement that the search engine published only Google documents that the author intentionally disclosed, or that allowed the user to open a link to the document and use it for public access and search.
“Saving and protecting users’ personal data is our main priority,” the company said. “Google Documents is a highly protected tool for joint work and it is working correctly.”

Yandex spokesman Ilya Grabovsky said the search only retrieves files that do not require a login and password. He added that the files are also open to other search engines.
