Kim Dotcom loses latest legal bid to avoid US extradition
Fancy Internet entrepreneur Kim Dotcom and his colleagues three people lost the recent bid price to avoid India for the United States who recently received criminal charges.
New Zealand's court confirmed that the court's decision on the day qualifies men to be transferred to the US authorities.
Dotcom's lawyer Ira Rothken said he plans to appeal to the New Zealand Supreme Court disappointed against the ruling.
Dotcom said in a statement, “As people will know, I am prepared to fight to get justice, whether it is for me or others.”
The recent decision is when six years have elapsed since US authorities filed suspects of conspiracy, violent acts and money laundering by closing Megaupload, dot - com.com 's file sharing site. If you get convicted, you may be trapped in jail for decades.
Temporary Megaupload was one of the most popular sites on the Internet. The US prosecution earned mainly 175 million dollars primarily by people who illegally download songs, TV programs, movies, etc.
Dotcom chooses to use his site for illegal purposes and can not bear the responsibility to others and claimed that the case against it must have been raised in a civil court . He did not live in the United States, he did not even visit the country, he said there was no company there.
Dotcom born in German gold Schmitz founded Megaupload 2005. At some point he received a permanent residency in New Zealand in 2010, who lived in a hotel in Hong Kong. He was arrested in 2012 by a dramatic police raid in New Zealand. I was imprisoned for a month before being released to the mansion by jewelry.
After that, Dotcom released a music album, formed a file sharing company of the Internet called Mega, and started a party that failed in the election in 2014.
In addition to Dotcom, the largest shareholder, the United States is making efforts to lead Megapload executives Mathias Ortmann, Bram van der Kolk and Finn Batato. This indictment was charged in the District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Once the latest decision is made, Andrew Little's Minister of Justice's decision is to ultimately decide whether it is Dotcom India. He told reporters that he would wait until Dotcom ran out of his case.
“Extradition is a major thing, it’s an incredible erosion of someone’s liberties,” Little said. “So it is right that we take the time and effort for the legal decision to be correct before I, as Minister of Justice, get to make a decision.”
