Worried to be Blocked, Facebook Global Officer Will Face to Minister Rudiantara

The global Facebook officials will hold a meeting with Indonesia's Minister of Communication and Informatics, Rudiantara in the near future, to discuss the issue of data leak of 1 million Facebook users in Indonesia.

Director General of Applications and Informatics (Aptika) at the Ministry of Communications and Informatics (Kemkominfo), Samuel Abrijani Pangerapan said the relationship will be conducted by Facebook officials at the Office of Communication and Information Minister next week.

According to the man who is familiarly called Sammy, the agenda of the arrival of top officials of global Facebook to Indonesia is to provide updates directly related to a number of steps taken up Facebook to cope with data leakage users in the country.

"I get information that there will be high officials of Facebook who will come to Indonesia to explain further developments related to this case to the Minister," he said, Thursday (26/4) night.

According to him, the arrival of high-ranking global Facebook is not to provide internal audit results as promised side of Facebook Indonesia some time ago to the government, because the audit results have not been completed until now.

But Semmy ensures all developments of Facebook internal audit results will be given to regulators. "But clearly, the development of the audit process will be informed to the Government of Indonesia so we just wait," he said.
