How to set up Apple Watch Series 3 GPS + Cellular
Smart watches are so cool. Finally, they receive all the relevant notifications, such as phone calls, messages, emails and much more on your wrist. Usually the phone should be near, but not with the Apple Watch Series 3 GPS + Cellular.
Apple Watch Series 3 Cellular can work independently. It comes with an electronic SIM card (eSIM) that can be mapped to your existing number (for Airtel and Jio customers). This gives you the freedom to stay in touch with your mobile phone number even if your iPhone is unavailable or free. Using the mobile network in Apple Watch, you can answer calls, send messages and transfer music from Apple Music. This makes it ideal for those who often want to leave their cell phones, leaving for workouts, for lunch and more, but eventually dressed in the iPhone.
If you want to buy it and ask yourself, what is this eSIM and how to set it up, do not worry. It's as easy as setting up a new phone.
As the name suggests, the Apple Watch Series 3 GPS + Cellular supports a cellular network, but does not have a SIM card slot. ESIM is activated by the mobile operator itself during clock setting.
The mechanism of the watch is very simple. Start the Observation application on your iPhone, select a new clock, point the iPhone to your watch and leave the rest on the iPhone. Once the connection is made, you will be offered some basic information, such as the wrist on which you wear the clock, the password to iTunes and much more.
The supervision application automatically selects the network operator and requests either to register with the network operator or to log in with the mobile number and password. If you have problems configuring eSIM on a clock, you can skip this step and return to it later. For example, I could not reset my Airtel account password when setting the clock and did not have to set up the mobile network. But once the clock was set up, I could activate eSIM via the mobile data option in the Watch application. As soon as you enter the login data in the user account, the activation process of eSIM starts. You will shortly receive a message from your operator that the Apple Watch has been activated.
The mobile operator can take between 5 minutes and 30 minutes to activate eSIM. In the meantime, you can continue the Apple Watch 3 series.
By default, the Apple Watch Cellular front panel displays a cellular signal with four green dots. Apple has developed Watch so that the mobile network works only if it is not connected to the iPhone via Bluetooth and is also disconnected from the Wi-Fi network, so that the mobile network does not constantly discharge the watch's battery,
